Susa's early career consisted of touring as the lead vocalist of "CINEMA" and "IN COLOR" pop/ rock bands formed out of Denver Colo. Both bands built a huge fan base in the Midwest and on the West Coast fueled by their high energy live performances using the latest technology in light and sound. After several years on the road her band "IN COLOR" came to Nashville and was seen by A&R reps from Capital Records and negotiations began on a recording contract with Capital. As is often the case in the music industry "IN COLOR" broke up when they were about to receive their first record deal. Susa then turned all her energy to songwriting and released her first single, "The Right Way", to radio in 2006. The release quickly rose to #3 on the Gospel Roots chart and received massive airplay crossing over several radio formats. Soon after she left her dysfunctional management, due to poor business practices, and decided to do things independently. Her first CD as a solo artist, "GodSend", was recorded and released in 2010. This Pop/Americana crossover project showcased her versatility as a vocalist and songwriter. The first track "Sin" was selected for the soundtrack to the feature film "The Green Stain". Susa has continued to sharpen her writing skills and her musical journey has produced a new single “The Trail” which is included on her sophomore EP being recorded presently. This song has an Americana/Roots tinged vibe and is due to release to radio in August 2013 with a new video to support this project already shot and ready to air.
